Aural Rehabilitation Seminar

Sometimes, hearing aids alone cannot fully help with understanding speech – the brain needs exercises to better control focus and discrimination. These exercises, known as “aural rehabilitation,” are helpful in combination with hearing aids to strengthen your brain’s capacity to focus on the target speech signal versus background noise and to identify various clues in speech sounds that help to understand meaning. Brain Food!

Thinking allows the brain the stretch and exercise, strengthening the ability to process, recall, remember and analyze. The brain needs nourishment, just like the body, and problem solving/higher level thinking exercises allows the brain to do just that! Join us for this four week class for mind stimulation and memory. Challenge your brain with exercises and games designed to improve memory, increase attention and processing, and strengthen higher level thinking. Click here for more information.
